Google just acquired Grand Central, "a web-based voice communications platform that helps you manage all your phones and phone numbers through one simple interface".
The service lets people use a single number for all their phones.
"GrandCentral users can also create a single mailbox, accessible over the Internet, for all their phone messages, Google said on its Web site.
